A local bar and restaurant located on the Square in the heart of downtown Gainesville, GA that provides a haven to those looking to get away from the daily grind, where friends are the family you’ve chosen, and satisfying food and drink awaken the soul. We’re your local place of refuge to immerse yourself in good times with great people! Join us as we reimagine the familiar!
What we do
Dining
SOS serves lunch and dinner, along with a late-night menu and brunch on the weekends. We are reimagining the familiar with our tapas-style small plates and entrees featuring salads, soup, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, steak, seafood, poultry, vegetarian options, and desserts.
Events
Whether you’re upstairs at Blue Door or downstairs at SOS, you’ll find we always have something fun going on. Bringing live music to The Square during Sunday Funday, we also feature special events like wine dinners, mixology classes, karaoke, and trivia. Upstairs at Blue Door, you’ll find all your late-night festivities with resident DJs, along with live bands and comedy shows. We also host craft markets, art shows, and wine tastings.
